Martin Sleen '27 Recruiting Profile

When I was six years old, my older brothers introduced me to the game of football. I immediately fell in love with it and soon realized I had been blessed with a talent for the sport. 

I love football and would like to continue to play after high school more than anything. Alongside football, my participation in lacrosse has honed my split second decision-making skills, which has helped me see gaps faster and smoothly evade tackles. I am well known by my teachers, coaches, and teammates as a hard-working, honest, person and a confident, well-tempered athlete who works hard every single play. Echoing Jared Allen’s quote, ”I work hard everyday and every game so as not to let my team down. I play internally for Christ, He gave me my abilities and I can’t let Him down either.”

 My goals are to secure a sports scholarship and start working towards my bachelors degree in business.
