Declan Wilson '24 Recruiting Profile

In March of 2023 I increased my rating to a 4.5 star kicker by Chris Sailer.  My first Sailer camp was in December of 2022, so I am progressing quickly.

Currently I have 65+ yard KOs with 3.7 second hangtime, 55+ yard FG range. I'd like to play for a D1 school that will be a good fit for me to study Chemistry, Engineering, and/or Business. 

A unique thing about me is that I have been in a solo performance setting since I was 5 years old through piano recitals for up to 3000 people at times.  I believe that this mindset has helped me to be disciplined and focused in order to have consistency and accuracy in my kicking performance.

I have been a competitive club soccer player for over 10 years and have discovered my true passion is Football kicking.  I am planning to attend some national kicking camps in the offseason to advance my capabilities further to prepare for my senior high school season in 2023 and playing in college in 2024.

My top game highlight for the 2022 season was sending our state quarterfinal game to overtime by kicking a high pressure PAT after an unsuccessful 2 point conversion attempt and a 10 yard penalty.  Oh and the game was outdoors in 28 degree weather!
