Jakwaize Walker '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10 cornerback from Pascagoula, Ms. I have started on the Pascagoula High School varsity football team for 3 years and earned 2nd team All-Region 5A my junior year. I have also played 3 years on varsity in basketball, while also running hurdles in track and my 1st year I placed 1st at South State and 4th at State.
I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Physical Therapy. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I am a leader and a captain on my high school team. I work hard on the field and in the classroom. Football is an important aspect of my life. I am blessed and thankful for every day I get to play this game. To have the opportunity to play in college is all I strive for.
