Damon Cole III '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Damon Cole, III. I am a 5'11 ft., 170 lb. runningback. I am an extremely hard worker on the field and off. I recently gained fifteen pounds and dropped two tenths of a second off my forty yard dash. Off the field I am known as a great student, having a 4.0 GPA and recently making a 30 on the ACT. I attend Park Place Christian Academy in Pearl, MS as a twelth grader and have been going to school there since 2004. Park Place began in 2000 and has added a grade since its creation. I happen to be in the grade that is created each year. This has mostly been a great circumstance. It has helped me develop outstanding leadership qualities and has given me playing time deemed rare by most individuals. One of the few negatives to having attended Park Place so long is the lack of exposure. We are a 1A private school in Central Mississippi that fielded it's first eleven man varsity team this year. My tenth grade year we were only able to play five games because our team's odd grade makeup of eighth through tenth. The next year we fielded a tenth and eleventh grade eight-man football team in which we competed against full tenth through twelfth grade teams. That year I finished as second team All-District and second team All-County by coaches from our region. The team voted me Most Valuable Offensive Back and the Crusader Award which is given to the individual showing the most effort, best leadership qualities, and lastly who plays the best. I look to extend these attributes to the highest competition level possible and be an impactful teammate. I am looking for a medium to big sized college that will give me the privilege of playing college football and help me reach my goal of being a lawyer. I plan on majoring in economics at an university who is known for being highly selective academically with the help of financial aid
