Aidan Arellano '27 Recruiting Profile

I have a very athletic-minded family.  It was only natural for me to participate in a variety of sports while growing up. This experience has led me to be a successful multi-sport high school athlete in Football, Wrestling, and Track & Field.  I enjoy the different aspects of each sport, but I am most drawn to the camaraderie and competition on the football field.

I started playing football when I was five and have always loved the game.  Even after hours of practice, I would be ready for more.  I have benefited from having great youth and school coaches that have allowed me to develop as a player and challenge my abilities.  I have had the opportunity to play both offense and defense with my concentration being primarily a Linebacker/Safety.  One of my favorite phrases is “do your job”.  I believe that in order to be a successful team, each individual must contribute and do their part.  I am always willing to do what is needed for the best of the team.  I work hard year round to develop and become a better athlete.  This hard work led me to become a three sport Varsity Letterman as a Freshman, where I was part of our Missouri State Champion Football team, and a state qualifier in both Wrestling and Track & Field.  My Sophomore year I earned a Varsity Football starting position and our team went to the state semi-finals.

My work ethic goes beyond the football field as I also push myself academically.  I maintain a high GPA and have earned All-State Academic honors in both Wrestling and Football.  I am also an active member of Future Business Leaders of America.

I want to attend a college with a high level of competition where I can continue to play football and contribute to the success of the team. I look forward to being part of the brotherhood of collegiate football.
