I have played football since I was in the second grade. I believe the game of football teaches many life lessons about leadership and teamwork.
Unfortunately, I broke my scapula a week before the first game of my senior season. I also missed a significant portion of my junior year due to a quad injury. The doctors say my shoulder will fully heal and I plan on getting back to the game I love as soon as I can.
Coming into the year, the plan was for me to be a 2-way starter as a safety and running back. I also long-snap for both punts and field goals. I was elected as a team captain by my teammates. Coaches have described me as hardworking, driven, and coachable. I also strive for good grades in the classroom, and currently carry a non-weighted GPA of 3.75.
I hope to continue playing football at the college level and hope to find the perfect match. As of now, I'm considering a career in counseling or possibly science.
I truly believe I'd be a valuable addition to any program and look forward to sharing more about myself.
