Colt Gosnell '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 6'3", 215 lb Defensive End/Outside Linebacker in the Class of 2026 with a 3.75 GPA, and I’m driven to compete at the next level. I bring intensity, discipline, and a team-first mindset every time I step on the field. I’m constantly working to improve my technique, speed, and strength because I believe consistency and effort are what separate good athletes from great ones.

What sets me apart is my versatility and commitment. I was named to the 2024 D2-9 All-District Football Team for both offense and defense—an honor that reflects my ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball. I’ve been a Varsity player since my freshman year, earned Honorable Mention as a sophomore, and have started on defense since my sophomore season. In my junior year, I started on both offense and defense, playing Defensive End/Outside Linebacker and starting as a Guard/Tight End on offense.

I’m motivated by the knowledge that there’s always someone working to be better, and that drives me to push myself every day—on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom. In the fall of my junior year (2024), I scored a 26 on the ACT and recently retook the test in spring 2025—currently awaiting results.

I’m open to opportunities at the Division I, II, III, or NAIA level and am looking for a program where I can continue to grow as an athlete, a student, and a leader. I’m grateful to be coached by leaders like Coach Eamonn Feeney, Coach Sam Reed, Coach Bryce Byrn and Coach Gail Madsen, who have played a major role in shaping the player and person I am today.
