When I had the opportunity to play football it was in my Sophmore year, I had a late start and a huge curve to overcome playing for a team (Fernley High School) that had won the Nevada 3A State Championship the year before. COVID did not help in anyway as I watched my first season have practices cancelled, conditioning last through winter and games finally starting in the spring. We played 4 games that season and lost a lot of players to heartache and frustration. I however, fell in love with the game and was determined to put in the work to make my Junior Year better.
I am now in my Senior year starting at Center, knowing that I have overcome more obstacles then many. I have improved on my self discipline and academic achievement. I have persevered through uncertainty both on the field and with the seperation of my mother and father. I continue to grow and develop and have a passion for the game. I want nothing more then to provide leadership, strength and determination for a team that I can call family while I succeed in the classroom. I look forward to helping a team move ahead with tenacity and focus.
