Jack Lorenz '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been surrounded by people who push and drive me to be the best person I can at anything. This drive that has been given to me has also allowed me to excel in school and sports. The combination of this and my love and passion for math has inspired me to be an engineer. I have also grown a passion for football after playing for the first time in 7th grade and want to be able to play the sport for as long as I can even after college. I enjoy football more than any other sport because it allows me to push myself both physically and mentally. Although wrestling allowed me to do this, being on a football team and working towards a common goal to win as a team was even better. I believe that I differ from others because I enjoy pushing myself beyond my limits in order to improve at anything by putting in a lot of time and energy every day. I am also willing to do whatever it takes to excel at all subjects through hard work and listening and learning from others.
