Ever since I was young I had the dream of playing college football. It was a goal I set for myself and always have had in the back of my mind. The opportunities to first get a great education and then to play college football would be a dream come true. I am a sophomore at Audubon High School. I have a 4.0 GPA and I give football a lot of credit for that. I am 5'9'' 170lbs, but that is only a measurement. What cannot be measured is my ability and will to work hard, my leadership, and most of all my heart and love for the game. I started linebacker this year. My coaches then trusted me to call the defense. I am a responsible person that manages time wisely. I believe that football is just mental as it is physical, and I try to not only play the game but also be a student of the game. I am a great learner and can be taught very easily. This skill has definitely helped in my academic career. I am the type of person who is always last in the weight room doing extra or staying after practice to prefect my reps. Football has taught me so many life lessons. This game has truly shaped who I am.
No matter what happens in my future I know that football will always be with me.
