Michael Mendez '15 Recruiting Profile

My childhood doesn’t have a happy start but one thing that has never change is enjoying every moment to the fullest. Ever since I was introduced to football, I fell in love with the game and knew I was meant to play it. Playing at a college level will be a memory and experience that will never stop replaying in my head. It will change my whole life around. Every minute that I spent at college will be an unbelievable experience.
  I’m always ready to overwork and surpass my opponent whether it’s on the football field, the weight room or in school. There will never be a time where I slack off because that will give an advantage for my opponents to beat me. Whether were down or up on the scoreboard I encourage my team to keep fighting until the last whistle is blown. I’m always looking for opportunities to get stronger, faster and improve my skills, which I will love to take and show it in the next level. I’m very coachable and always want to reach to my fullest.

my love and passion for the game will never change. I will always give it my all (110%), my heart will not allow me to quit no matter the consequences. I want to attend college where i can get a better and higher education. I just want to be the first in my family to attend college and prove everybody that doubted me, that i made it and that I'm playing at the next level. My family is the fuel that keeps me going and attending college and playing football will make them very proud of me.
