Two years ago, I graduated, and I found myself complacent and content with where I was. I had dreams of playing football at a higher level, but my ambition was overshadowed by a lack of discipline. I thought I could just walk into the next chapter, but the reality hit hard when I tried to join a JUCO team. I was overlooked, dismissed as "high school good" and too overweight to compete at that level.
That moment was a wake-up call. I realized that if I truly wanted to make my dream of playing in the NFL a reality, I had to transform both my body and my mindset. Over the past two years, I've dedicated myself to rigorous training, pushing my body to its limits and beyond. It's been painful, exhausting, and at times, I've felt like I was destroying myself. But every drop of sweat, every bruise, every hour in the gym has been worth it.
I’m not the same person who walked away from that JUCO tryout. I’ve worked hard to prove I’m not just a "high school good" player. I'm a contender, ready to take my shot, and nothing will stop me from fulfilling my dream of reaching the NFL.
