Victor Oquendo '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was six years old and fell in love with the game the moment I stepped onto the field. Since then, it has been my goal to play college football at a high level. Playing football throughout all of these years has shown me the amount of sheer effort and determination that goes into improving and succeeding. I am ready to give my best at all times to be the best version of myself.

On the field, I am a great leader and constantly try to set an example and tempo for the rest of my team. I am also very encouraging and raise the spirits of my teammates as well. I allow myself to be coachable and take criticism from my coaches, knowing it will make me a better athlete. I always give my best effort on the field, but also off the field and in the classroom.

I not only have the drive to become a great football player, but also a great student.  During my freshman and sophomore years of high school, I studied very hard to withhold a 4.5 GPA. My dream is to attend college to give me an opportunity both academically and athletically. I am open to all options and desire to play at the highest level of competition. Primarily, I aspire to be a great student and athlete and to make my parents proud.
