To whomever it may concern,
I am Sean Connor Hayes, I created this profile as a resource to get out to a much larger array of coaches and recruiters as an aspiration of mine is to be involved in a sport within college whether it be of wrestling or football. Currently, I am a student of Howell High School and a prominent member of its activities building a reputation as someone of whom anyone could reach out too if they needed a "natural-born" leader or someone they could just talk too. My goal in life is to help others and be the best possible person, academic, and athlete I can be, although my grades have been shy within my high school career thus far, I intend to change this as I know I can do better, I want to be with a team, not necessarily one that wins, but one that works the hardest to be the best and shows they can always be even if they aren't on the field doing so. Personally I believe I was born with a purpose of helping others and being a leader hence since I was a child I always aspired to be a police officer and currently wish to seek a degree in criminal justice for a career in federal law enforcement. Respectfully I was born a lineman, always standing out in a crowd even when I stopped growing and became a short player I learned to adapt quickly, to serve my purpose and to be the best man I can be for my team, I can lead my team into battle and will fight through it all to keep every man on there and in their best possible condition. You may be asking how does some athlete from a small team in New Jersey stand out, truth is I can't tell you... But I can tell you one thing, I'm dedicated. For years I've been told I can't, I'm too big, I'm too slow, and I fell into a dark hole feeling like it was true, I then realized if I were to do one thing I'd stand up and take the pain and run through it all and prove them wrong so the next person after me can do the same and I did just that, in late June 2018 being one of those first men to show up to the freshman coach ready to run and learn the game for what it truly is, and ever since then sports have saved me. It has saved me and my commitment is that beyond any other player because I know if I didn't play, if I didn't show up, I wouldn't be disciplined, I wouldn't have my new found family, or my brothers and sisters on various teams, I wouldn't be able to take the pain or inspire others, and that is what I am and who I want to be, your most dedicated and inspiring athlete you have.
Thank you,
Sean Connor Hayes
