Jason Ridges Jr '24 Recruiting Profile

Jason Ridges Jr. is a veteran youth football player. Hailing from Edison, NJ by way of Brooklyn, NY. This scholar-athlete has been on the football field since the compact age of 6 years old. Possessing an above-average GPA Jason is on the path for leadership on and off the field.

He began his football career concomitantly with baseball at the age of 6 with the Kingsbay Youth League in Brooklyn, NY. That year of playing both sports the baseball team won their League championship with Jason as a powerful and fast third baseman. Although Jason excelled in baseball, football was his true passion. Jason remained in Kingsbay for 2 years winning two Peanut Bowls while there as a Defensive End.

This strong player was coveted by the well-known Brooklyn Titans. This extreme defensive player rose to the top by becoming the captain of his team (first defensive player to earn this statute) and winning the Peanut Bowl for that conference. In staying with the Brooklyn Titans for two consecutive years Jason earned Defensive Player of the year.

With his parents moving to wonderful Edison, NJ Jason began playing for a pop warner team The Metuchen Bulldogs and finishing his youth football career with the Edison Wolfpack. 

His speed and preciseness have his coaches grooming him to not only be a defensive player but a Power Running back due to his aggressiveness and ability to break through a defensive line. 

In the off time, Jason works one on one with an academic tutor as well as a speed and agility coaches. Dedication is an understated verb to describe this once in a lifetime football player. 

This season Jason is taking his training into overdrive, attending camps, combines, and personal training. He is getting ready for his upcoming high school season at Saint Joeseph Metuchen as a member of the class of 2024. 

In the near future, we would love to come and visit the campus to meet the coaching staff and to formally introduce ourselves.
