Personal Statement
My name is Nnamdi Unachukwu from Marlboro, New Jersey. I play on my high school football team and I consider myself to be a versatile, well- rounded athlete.
Just to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a defensive end at Marlboro High School. On the field as a defensive end, I have used my size and my speed to shed blockers, disrupt plays, and sack the quarterback.
I believe I would be a great addition to your team. In this last 2016-2017 season, I had 29 solo tackles, 36 total tackles, 6 sacks, and 1 blocked field goal. Additionally, In 2014 I received the award “2014 Most Improved Defense” from my high school team. In the 2015-2016 season I improved. My local new paper, The News Transcript, chose me to be a part of Central Jersey's " Group V All- district Defensive Team". As a student- athlete I have never settled for second best. I am accustomed to focusing on a goal or target and attaining it. I am coachable, hard-working, respectful, and have a heart for the game.
As a senior student I currently have a 3.45 GPA. I am strong, focused, organized, goal- oriented and motivated. My goal is to be the best student athlete I can be, so that one day I can pursue a career in the physical therapy field. I believe having an acclaimed education and being a member of a well- renowned football program will give me the tools I need to reach this goal.
