Jacob Maciejewski '17 Recruiting Profile

Just completed a great 2014 season where I either started or was a major contributor to varsity in each game as a sophomore.  I play on both the DL/OL.  We had a great season even with losing in the state finals.  We played under the lights at MetLife Stadium.  It was a great experience.  My goal for this year was to be a major contributor to the team and help get the teams to states.  I have played sports all my life.  Even in high school I continue to play football, wrestle and play lacrosse.  I love it all but football is my passion.  I play it, I study it and I coach youth football as well.  It helps make me stronger physically and mentally.  It has also contributed to building my character and values.  I understand the importance of being the best person I can be on and off the field.  I am striving to do that.  Not only is my focus on academics and athletics but also on community service.  I belong to the senior youth ministries at my church and there is a focus on serving the community.  Giving back to the community is also a strongly emphasized at my high school.  As I progress through my high school and college years, I want to evolve into the best person, leader and athlete I can be.  I want to play football at the college that will help me along this path and achieve my goals.
