I truly believe I was born to play football, there is nothing else in life that gives me more joy. When my trainer gives me grueling challenges and tells me "Adam you have to find a way", I always do because I know it is going to get me closer to my dream of playing football in college. As a child, I also competed and won many medals in MMA and wrestling. I love both sports because it challenges my body and mind and helps perfect my skills on the football field. This is so important to me because having just turned 17 years old, I am always the youngest, competing against kids 1-1.5 years older than me in my grade level. Thankfully this year I grew a lot, it's probably because I take my diet seriously, preparing and eating healthy foods as much as possible. I also take my school work seriously and always strive for straight A's, my GPA so far is 3.5. I would like study to become an allergist in college so I can help kids who suffer from allergies like I did growing up.
My parents instilled philanthropy in me as soon as I started understanding the concept of money. They encouraged me to research deserving causes and donate a portion of my birthday and holiday money each year and I chose to support Water.org and every winter I shop for coats & the boots for Syrian refugees. While other kids my age are partying, I love to spend my time on the lake with my friends, playing pick up basketball games and at my cultural center with kids I grew up with. On Sundays my family disconnects from our phones while we bond over mounds of laundry, watching football all day and me trying to convince my 5 year old sister that the Giants are way better than the Cowboys! Thank you for reading my story.
