My name is Cory Saxon I am a senior at Aztec High School in Aztec, New Mexico. My parent’s, Chris and Dawn Saxon are both teachers in Aztec and my dad is an assistant football coach and special teams coordinator for our varsity football team. I play inside linebacker in a 3-4 defensive scheme for the Aztec Tiger football team. This season I am currently 2nd in total tackles and I leading in tackles for loss. I currently hold a 3.22 overall G.P.A. and I am ranked 36th in a class of 217. I am a quick learner, a very hard worker and love playing the game of football. I realize that being recruited is not all about athletic ability so I wanted to point out that I was recently selected 1 of 12 seniors with San Juan County New Mexico to participate in the UMattR Program. The UMattR Program is an organization that takes 12 senior role models from around the county and has them speak at local elementary schools about making good choices, and staying off of drugs and alcohol. Thank you for taking the time to check out my recruiting page and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
