Goals and Aspirations- My collegiate goals and aspirations are to maintain a 3.0 GPA , be competitive in inter-collegiate sports (football) while keeping a positive attitude in/outside of the academic classroom. Candidate Qualities- I feel that I am a good candidate for your program because I demonstrate the ability to be a team oriented player, coachable, and a hard working athlete that's willing to put forth the effort to succeed and take on praise as well as criticism. Seperation Between other Recruits- I feel that my character is different from other recruits because I let my ability on the feel speak louder than my words. I also believe my academics seperate me from other recruits because I was always raised academics over sports. The NCAA standard to be eligible to participate in sports is a 2.0 and my parents standards are a 3.0. I set my standards higher than the normal because that is what I expect from myself as well as what my parents expect from me. My athletic ability also separates me from the other recruits as I am considered well rounded in baseball, basketball and football. A 3 sport athlete that is versatile in all aspects, with the 4th aspect being the most important of them all....my academic achievements and positive messages/posts as it relates to Social Media . #21 Jay Mason OLB/WR (Go Wildcats!)
