Danielle Griego '21 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been a part of my life since the age of four.  From playing CYSA throughout my childhood, traveling to compete in tournaments, and attending camps.  Additionally, I maintain a 4.6 GPA taking four AP classes.  I have been a member of the Clovis High School 5A varsity team since the end of my eighth grade season.  I have maintained a starting position my freshman and sophomore year and have every intention into carrying this to my junior year.  This season I was an all district player and lead in assists in our district.  I also had fourteen goals in our nineteen game season.  This season our team earned the opportunity to play in the first round of state.  Although we lost in double overtime, in the hundredth minute, it was an amazing experience.  I grew a bond with my teammates that was unbreakable.  I have become a team player and have realized what it's like to be apart of something bigger than myself.  To support one another and push each other to the best of ones ability.  I will be competing with a club soccer team out of Albuquerque this spring and look forward to playing with new girls.  I want a college where I can contribute to a team's connection and chemistry.  A college where I fit athletically and academically.  I know I have what it takes to be a positive attribute to your team.
