Personal Statement

Hello Coaches,

My name is Justin Veith and this is me. I played baseball all of my life since I was very young and had a deep love for it. I wanted a change in my life and decided to go to my high schools summer football workouts. I started playing football in my freshman year of High school and it was here that I found my love for the sport. Starting all four years, I have found my love and passion in this sport. If given the opportunity, I would 100% play in college and that is why I am here. I want to find a school that will not only meet my school needs and wants but also my athletic needs and wants. I am also looking for a school that likes dedicated and hardworking student-athletes. I take school and football very serious and put my all into everything from my work in the class to the play on the field.  While my smaller 5'9 140 body type is very irregular, I am a very versatile, physical and speedy player. My smaller frame allows me to sometimes gain the upper hand on the field. While team effort is a key factor in Football, individual play is very important and I focus on my individual play so that I can help my team out. What makes me very different from other recruits is my work ethic and ability to elevate my game. I was not blessed with a 6'3 225 frame but complaining will not help me. Working harder than everyone else helps me cause while I lack the size, I make up for it with speed, physicality and smart play. Another characteristic that separates me is my work off the field. I work hard off the field so I can work even harder on the field. Play on the field is not possible with bad grades and bad decisions off the field. I'm looking for a school that can see my dedication and my potential and wants me to succeed while also giving me the opportunity to play at a College level. I'm the type of player that focuses on getting the job done in the classroom so that I can make those plays on the field. Thank You so much for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a great rest of the day!

Sincerely,

Justin
