Dylan Balcom '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a well-rounded student who also excels in his sports always putting in the time and effort to make myself a better player. I am a team leader on and off the field/court. Even as a younger player on my varsity sports playing as a freshmen my teammates knew I was leader and knew what i was talking about. My ambitions for the future is to continue to play sports at the collegiate level and be successful at that level as well. What makes me different is that I can manage both achieving good grades in school along with doing well in sports unlike some student-athletes who can only manage one at a time. Also, what makes me a good candidate for the team is that I have the ability to figure out how each teammate must be communicated to because some guys handle things differently which is an essential trait for a leader of a team. The number one thing that I believe that makes me a candidate for the team is to always put our teammates and coaches before yourself and never let another one of your family members down because a sports team is practically another family for you.
