Daniel Dawson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Dawson and I am a rising junior at E.E. Smith High School.  As a Christian, I strive to display characteristics such as leadership, accountability, commitment, discipline, and "a lion mindset".  My mindset and confident personality produces an inner drive within me to succeed which positively affects my team mates. I display these qualities within the classroom, on the field, and throughout my daily life. My physical dimensions include a height of a  5’8 and weight of 175 lbs.  I consistently run a 4.4 40 but I am confident that my time will be down to a 4.3-4.2 before the 2020-2021 season starts.  Daily maintaining discipline to train and communicate with my high school football and track coaches about plays and work outs. I am an athlete capable of playing all positions however my main positions are RB/WR. I bring a winning attitude and mindset wherever I go. I’ll never let anything defeat me, realizing that allows me to work harder to reach my goals. I’m the type of person to never give up.   I’ve been playing football for about 10 years. I have a 3.5 GPA and I plan to take the ACT or SAT this upcoming school year.  I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field.  NCAA ID number: 2001772018
