Michael Jones '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 18 year old football player at heart and skill! I'm currently a student of West Carteret High School in my junior year. I think I am a great choice of athlete for your school and hope that soon you find this to be true. I am young man of integrity and I take pride in everything that I do. I'm a dedicated hard worker on and off the field and show respect to teachers, coaches, team mates and my fellow student body. I am currently playing varsity football and have shown time and again to be one of the leader's of my high school team. I lead our team by motivating my teammates, encouraging everyone to keep their head up; never give up.  I love football and have a lot of passion and heart. When I play? I leave everything on the field and give it my all. I know that in order to be a successful top notch football player or person in life, that you need to excel and do well in school and never take it lightly. I am a very focused student and have a current 3.5 and rising GPA. I currently am also enrolled in honor's and AP courses. My goal is to have my GPA at 3.8 or higher by the end of my sophomore year. I know that grades are really important to get into the college you want and go hand in hand with football.  I hope that I have given you a glimpse of my focus, determination, integrity, pride, goals and love for the game.
