Evan Parker '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 200 pound dual threat quarterback. I have a consistent 4.8 40 but have been timed at speeds quicker. I have been on varsity football for 3-years and varsity basketball 2-years, earning a captain spot my junior year for both sports. I am transferring to a new high school for my senior year with plans to earn the position of starting quarterback through hard work and dedication. I am a hard worker on the field, in the weightroom, and in the classroom. I lead drills during practice and give 100% of myelf for the better of the team. I am in the weightroom year round, showing great, consistent improvement over 3-years. I aim to be a 500-pound squatter and a 300-pound power cleaner by the time I graduate. More important than the weight room is the classroom. I strive to excel in the classroom, maintaining a 4.4 GPA while handling a courseload that includes college Calculus and AP U.S. History, as well as Spanish 4 Honors. I use the athletic ability I have to open up opportunities for myself, and one of those is a college education. I am interested in colleges of high academic standing anywhere in the country. A Pre-Law undergraduate would be preferable. Given the opportunity of a scholarship, I would bust myself day in and day out to earn that scholarship and I would contribute to any team as much as anybody. I'd give them a worker, a leader, and a winner.
