Ever since I was little, I was in love with football. As long as I can remember, I would take every chance I got to watch college and professional games on TV and I wanted to go to every game I could attend. As I grew and actually started my own career playing football, I learned that the glamorous parts of being an athlete are a very small percentage of one's career. I remember in fifth grade my team was undefeated during the regular season, then got knocked out the first round of the playoffs. It crushed me, and I learned that you have to work as a team and truly commit and sacrifice if you want to be the best. The next year we came back, beat that same team, and won the sixth grade championship going undefeated.
I have learned through this experience and many others that I have what it takes to play in college. As I have developed my athletic skills as a quarterback, I also developed leadership, an intense work ethic, sacrifice, and true passion for the game. My ultimate goal at all times it to play at the next level, whether that be varsity in upcoming years or college even beyond that. One thing I know is that I definitely have the dedication to be successful and I love football with all I have. My simple goal is to be the best I can possibly be, and I will do whatever it takes to get to that level.
