I have played football for around ten years. Every year that the season ends, I look forward to the next season starting over. While I have enjoyed playing other sport such as basketball and track, football is by far my favorite. I enjoy the physical nature of the game, and work hard during the season and the off season to improve my size, strength, conditioning and technique. I am a hard working, disciplined player.
My first time playing varsity was as a sophomore for Dover High School. For my efforts on the field, I was awarded my first varsity letter. I repeated earning a varsity letter my junior year. By the end of the year I was playing on every defensive package. My best game was against our arch rival New Philadelphia where I recorded several tackles including 3 sacks.
I am a hard working man in life. I have never had any discipline issues in school, in home, or in the community. I attend church with my family.
I am an average student sometimes earning A's, but likely to earn a B in my courses. I tend to excel in the classes that I like, as you can tell I do not like Spanish.
Other interests include gaming, weight training, fishing and spending time with my friends and family.
In conclusion, it is my desire to continue to play football at the collegiate level. I believe that the discipline instilled in athletes carries over into the classroom.
