Personal Statement
Throughout my carrier both on and off the field my coaches, teachers, and teammates have described me as coachable, intelligent, competitive, driven, and a leader who is eager and willing to learn. I believe that these are “must have” qualities in order to be a valuable asset to any athletic & educational program.
Since the moment I began playing flag football, I knew that football would be an area in which I would excel. My coaches worked with me at a very young age grooming me as the starting quarterback on every team from youth, through freshman year. I entered the summer of my sophomore year with the personal goal of being the starting varsity quarterback. I trained hard, and with the help and guidance from my coaches, I achieved my personal goal and earned the honor and privilege to be the starting varsity quarterback for the 2019-2020 season. I was the starting quarterback for my junior season as well. Covid changed many things for us last year like it did for many. We had to quickly adapt to may challenges last season. My teammates and I discovered that we can GROW through adversity, if we dig deep within ourselves, push each other, and focus on teamwork.
This year I plan to return as the starting quarterback for what I hope will be great senior season!
Academically, I currently have a cumulative 3.975 GPA ranked 29/246. and was inducted into the National Honor Society. I push myself and continue to work hard in my classes. My goal is to graduate on the Honor Roll and attend a college/university where I will pursue a degree in business..
My hobbies outside of school and off the field include volunteering at church, being outdoors, and shopping for sneakers.
I am no stranger to hard work and pushing myself to reach my full potential. I would welcome the opportunity to join a program that will continue to teach me the game I love, help me achieve team and personal goals, further develop and grow me as an adult both on the field and inside the classroom, and allow me the privilege to become a valuable asset to their program.
