My future goal is to obtain a business and law degree to establish a sports-oriented career training and teaching students to not only be better athletes but, more importantly, better people. Character counts, and I see so many ways sports can help build great character in participants. I've learned time-management, how to work as a team for a goal, and how to win and lose graciously. I've also realized that sports are a lot like academics: You can succeed if you put in the work. To that end, I am juggling high-level academics, high school softball, individual training and lessons and serving on the Student Council and volunteering as a Big Sister with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lorain County (Ohio.)
