Hi coach! My name is Noah Hartley and I love the game of football. My dad was my flag football coach when I was 4 and I played at the local YMCA. We have loved playing ball together for as long as I can remember. I started playing organized football when I was in the 4th grade and have played every year since. Through football, I have learned about teamwork, leadership, character and grind. I am dedicated to the team and I am dependable. In 7 years I have missed only ONE practice (in season and off season) and have NEVER missed a game or scrimmage. I know what it takes to show up and show out. I would appreciate the chance to play football at the college level.
Because of my work ethic, my positive attitude, and my leadership skills, I was chosen to be team captain each year in middle school and I hope to be elected captain again next year as a senior. I try everyday to lead by example. I am a versatile player. My coaches depend on me to do whatever is needed to benefit the team. My primary position is middle linebacker, but have also played right guard, kicker, and punter in the past. I am willing to do whatever the coach needs to help the team be as successful as possible. I also love competition. I love to compete against others, but I also use competition to push myself. My motto is "you will not outwork me" and I try to live that everyday that I am in the gym or on the field.
Ultimately, I would love to play in the NFL, but I will be grateful for any time that I may have to play this game that I love.
It is my goal to attend a school that will challenge me academically and allow me to get an education that will open plenty of opportunities for me after college. As a high school student, I am looking forward to discovering more about careers related to athletics and maybe even other careers that I may not even know exists. This is a very exciting time and I plan to work hard to maintain my honor roll status so that can take advantage of the education that college can provide.
