Personal Statement
My name is Joe Brodie, and I attend St. Francis de Sales high school in Toledo Ohio. I would like to find the right place for me to play football at the next level. I have always played in a 4-3 defense and played both the strong and weak side contain defensive end. I would also drop back into pass coverage. In our new 3-4 defense, I play 3, 4, and 5 techniques. This has taught me to fight off more physical double teams and use my hands more effectively. I was very happy to learn these new techniques and help our team get back to the state playoffs for the first time in 6 years. I have learned how important a quality college education is and would like to find the right school to help me pursue my future goals. Football has always been a passion of mine and I look forward to any opportunity I may have to play after high school.
