I am 18 years old and am a senior this year. I grew up on a farm in rural Eastern Oregon which has taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. To expand my background in farming, I participated in our school's FFA chapter and was honored to be the president for the past 2 years. I believe that giving back to your community is important. I am an active volunteer in my community and was the president of our Key Club last year. In addition to Key Club, I am also a member of our FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Club and placed 1st in the state for my Electronic Career Portfolio, and also placed in the top ten in the state for both Entrepreneurship and Personal Finance and competed in the National FBLA Convention in 2022. I am a member of the National Honor Society, a 4.0 student, enrolled in 4 college classes, and play football (through a co-op with Weston McEwen), basketball, and track. I have had the opportunity to play in the football state championship game in my sophomore and junior years, have had the honor of being an All-League and All-State team player, and have also competed in the track state championship meet two years in a row. I am a team captain for both football and basketball and would be a great addition to any program as I strive to be a good teammate, a leader, extremely coachable, and willing to do whatever is needed to get the job done. I am very passionate about football and taking it and my interest in business finance to the next level!
