Jeremiah Grieser '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jeremiah Grieser.  I was born in Florida and moved to Oregon when I was 3 days old with my adoptive parents.  I grew up on the family farm.  I come from a very stable and supportive home life and also have a supportive extended family.  My freshman and sophomore years were spent at Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Oregon.  During my sophomore year my parents offered me the opportunity to transfer to a private high school in Stayton, Oregon..  I transferred because I knew that I would get a better education and the atmosphere would be geared more towards producing college bound students.

(UPDATE:  My team just earned 1st place in league and we have a 9-1 record this year.  We are ready to rumble and earn our spot in the state championship 2A game.  After that accomplishment my eyes are set on playing college ball.  I am a solid and dependable player and do not consider myself to be a risk to a college football program.  I don't disappoint.  I am very coachable and am ready to take my skills to the college level and use them to help produce a big W.  This year I have played mostly on offense at the RB position.  So far I have 1754 yards and 27 TDs.)

I am an athlete and I am more than able to play both sides of the ball. On offense I play tailback and wide receiver and on defense I play free safety and cornerback. I also am the kick and punt returner for Regis. I would like to major in business and eventually be a financial advisor.  I would like to extend my football career beyond high school and play college ball.  I am an on and off the field leader and I am very dedicated in the classrooms as well as in football.

When I played football at Jefferson I wore #23 at home and for away games I wore #34.  Midway through my sophomore season jersey #34 was replaced by jersey #30.  I started my junior year at Regis High School and wore jersey #2 for both home and away games.
