Laughlin Vetter '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’2” 180lb track athlete from Salem, OR. I have been a captain of the Regis High School track team for 3 years.  This year I was selected “Track & Field Athlete of the Year”.  Outside of school I have competed in USATF meets at the state, regional, and national levels with Salem Track Club. I currently have a 4.53 GPA and am ranked first in my class.  I am active in drama, musical theater, music, and art.

 What I am looking for in a college is somewhere I can improve myself in the classroom, as well as on the track. I want to prepare myself for the rest of my life by getting a higher education in a helpful field. I am leaning towards something in the business, or engineering fields. On the other side of things, I am looking for a track team that would benefit from someone of my skill set, as well as one that could help me to improve those skills as well. I am excited to see what will be offered to me in terms of opportunities to prepare myself for my future.
