Zachary Franco '26 Recruiting Profile

Hey Team!

"Skill over Talent wins every time"  I didn't know what this meant when I first heard the phrase but do now.  I would much rather be part of a team that values skill over talent but not because talent is not important.  Talent is something you are born with....... but to me building skill requires discipline, courage and perseverance.  Just because you're talented doesn't mean you have any of those 3 qualities.   The last one I mentioned is THE most important of them all.  I can't tell you how many times there were situations I could have quit and taken the easy road.  Perseverance is what defines me as an athlete and especially a human being.  My dad has been an inspiration for me in athletics but in life as well.  I learned the art of overcoming adversity and incredible work ethic from my dad.  I have an amazing family around me which keeps me really grounded and centered.  Having this family structure makes me grateful but also keeps me striving for the best me I can be.  Its my Senior Year in 25'-26' and I have taken the challenge to build a successful season......STAY TUNED!!
