Kraig Pruett '14 Recruiting Profile

Thanks for taking time to view my profile everyone it means a lot.

My goal is to be the best athleete i am capable of being while maintaining my integrity and charachter as a man. I love playing football, when i am on the field there is no other place that i would rather be, but what is most important to me is maturing as an adult and growing in my leadership role. I have been blessed to be apart of two great football teams, West Salem High School and Waldport High School. I lived in Salem OR all of my life and played football at West Salem High School under the head coach Shawn Stanley. It was one of the greatest experiences i have had, my Freshman and Sophomore year our team won the CVC league title and my Freshman year our QB was Brett Smith who is now the QB for the Wyoming Cowboys college football team and it was amazing to get to work with him. During the summer going into my Junior year my Dad got a new job in Waldport OR so we moved out to the coast. My junior year of football was a great year for me and my team as a whole. I finished the season with 1,550 receiving yards and 87 receptions. I aslo broke the NFHS National Record for most receiving yards in a single game (456 yards receiving in one game) which was an awesome opportunity that i am so thankful for. I earned 1st team Wide Receiver, 1st team Deffensive Back, and 2nd team punter for our conference. I also earned 1st team All-State Wide receiver as well as HM All- State DB. I cant wait to see how our football season goes next year in my senior year.
