Maxwell Parker '25 Recruiting Profile

I come from a small school where the overall sports competitive spirit within the school community was often disappointing. That would be due to our limited pool of players, for most a varsity spot wasn't earned but given due to your family's status in the community. We had players on the team that seems as though, they didn't wanna be there or put in the work, But that never stopped me from giving my all. For four years, I showed up consistently—always the first in the gym and the last to leave. Nobody outworked my spirit, dedication, or drive. As the only athlete on the team studying film, I took it upon myself to break down game footage of opposing teams and players, learning their plays and tendencies to ensure I could perform at my absolute best. I would show everything I studied on the opposing team to my team on the bus rides/pre-game. I’m proud of the work ethic and passion I bring to the game, and I’m excited for the opportunity to carry that same mindset to the next level. I can't wait for my escape to a higher level so I may meet like-minded people, and to flourish in a setting I want to succeed in.
