Personal Statement
I've been playing football for 12 years and it is my passion. My goal for many years has been to play at the college level. I feel I have all the physical ability to achieve this goal, but more importantly I feel my greatest strength are my intangibles that I can bring to a team. I believe in leading by example, playing tough, hard work and never giving up.
On my freshman team in 9th grade, I was the starting QB and led my team to a 5-3 record. During my sophomore season, I started on varsity at strong safety. Our team had a tough season at 2-8, one of my best moments during this season was getting a pick 6 during one of our wins to put us in the lead. With the team having a returning senior at QB, I continued to further develop my skills as the starting JV QB. During my Junior season, I was the starting varsity free safety and took over as the starting quarterback at the end of the season. To start my Senior season, I am the starting QB and MLB. Through 3 games we are 2-1. The highlight of my career to this point happened on 9/3/21 when we upset a very talented Manheim Township team 41-38!
I have no doubt that I can be a successful college football player, but I also want a school that will challenge me academically and help further my education. I have a 3.69 GPA, got an 1100 on my SATs and aspire to attend a 4 year college to pursue a Physical Education or Athletic Training degree.
