Football was my first love. Living in Pittsburgh, I would find any excuse to wear my Big Ben jersey up until the age of 10. My parents would sometimes have to tear it off of me just to wash it. Watching Steelers games was a different story; my emotions were at some of the highest of highs and lowest of lows in front of the tv on Sundays. Finally being allowed to play in eighth grade was like living in a dream, and as a high schooler still playing football I am still in it. Furthermore, my aspirations for college are to not only continue the dream for 4 more years, but to be a better man from the life lessons football offers.
