Hello and Thank You for viewing my profile.
I am a freshman at Johnston Sr. Highschool. I have participated in Youth Sports: Football, Baseball and Basketball at a competitive level. I am currently starting Running Back, Linebacker and back-up QB on the Freshman high school team. In each sport I have excelled, yet my favorite sport is Football. My favorite position on offense is QB, yet have played RB and WR positions as well. I also enjoy defense, especially at LB position. Baseball is a close second, I love playing catcher. I like the speed in basketball and have played that sport to keep my cardio and stamina at high levels during football offseason. I have attached football videos that were taken when I was 10, and from that video I hope you can see my athletic ability at such a young age. I intend to update these videos once I begin Highschool.
My collegiate goals are to attend a college where I can learn to become a teacher/coach, yet my dream is the NFL or MLB. I am fast to learn and understand concepts from my coaches and am always helping teammates where they may not know. I perform on the field just as the coaches ask. In all the sports and teams I have played on, I have been looked up to as a leader. I bring confidence and support to a team. I have learned a lot from what to learn in losing games and have understood what it takes to win championships.
What makes me different from other recruits is my dedication and hard work in preparation of sports and school. I believe in 'team' and work well with others. I am focused on what I want and will do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals. My coaches have depended on me many times for different reasons: performance, team moral, decision making etc. My teachers have enjoyed me as a student as I am engaged in learning and understanding different topics. I don't waste the chances I am given and I make the most of every chance. I also have a sense of loyalty to my teammates. Most of my teammates are attending the town High School and I choose to play with them over other programs that may seem to be better. When you build relationships over time, each of us has a duty to one another over self-advancement.
