David Stringfellow '22 Recruiting Profile

Hey my name is David Dashawn Stringfellow, Im an 20 year old that is eager to touch a football field again. Ever since I was 5 years old I have played football and its has been a big part of my life, as a kid I have always wanted to have an career in football and I still have that dream. The only thing that I wish I could go back and change is to play football for my high school football team, I didn't play my first year of high school because my mine focus was getting good grades. My second year of high school it was a lot going on because of covid and a lot of the high school sports were shut down including football, but I was still wanting to play so I found a travel team in the area in August of 2020 and played for them for the remainder of my high school years. When I played for the travel team(South Carolina Spartans) my positions were, Running back, X, Wing back, Outside linebacker, Middle Linebacker, and Wide receiver but my mine position way Running back/ X. With this team we only had film for the last year but I was nominated to play in the Gatlinburg All American Bowl, I just couldn't get the funds to play but was very interested. One thing I know I can bring to a team is Competition, Determination, Leadership, Discipline, and a hard Work ethic, Im a player that always listens to any coaches corrections without disrespect and follow through with their request. Sports has always been a big thing to me especially football because I loved to make my Pawpaw proud, he was always at every game ever since I was a child and always did the chains for the games. A funny thing I would always tell him was that if I was getting the ball I had to either get the first down or take it all the way to the crib to make him put in some work. If you give me the chance it will not be in vain, and I will give my full 100% effort in everything I do.
