Patrick Ely '14 Recruiting Profile

How are you doing coach? Thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Patrick Ely and I am a First Team All State Defensive End/D Tackle at Upperman High School for the class of 2014. I have been a starter since my Freshman year. I run a 5.19 forty and am still improving. I currently have a weighted 3.83 GPA. My first ACT score was a 27 and I intend to retake the ACT this summer. We finished the year 13-1 ranked 3rd in the state in our class. The best in School history. It was the first time being ranked since 1996 and highest ever. Me and my teammates turned this program around from 1-9 my Freshman year to a State Champion Contender this year. I started 40 games in my high school career. I finished the year with 82 tackles 24 TFL, along with 12 Sacks, an interception for a touchdown and 10 pass breakups. I love the game of football and want to play college football at the highest level more than anything. I am dedicated and passionate about this game. I am a team player and very motivated to succeed. I am very explosive and agile for a big man. I bench 300 pounds, squat 485 and power clean 245 pounds. I am growing stronger daily. I am very coachable and driven to win. I am receptive to exploring opportunities in any geographic region of the country. I am also open to any classification. (D1,D2,D3)
