In 2015 season our team won the MTAC State Championship. I am a team player first, but I would like to mention my individual accomplishments. I received the defensive MVP award at my high school '15. I led the nation in sacks for all divisions as a sophomore on Max Preps. This past season of 2016, we repeated as state champions and I received the all tournament defensive player award, was selected to the NACA Extreme Football All Star Team, and was named team captain. I repeated my defensive MVP award at my high school in 2016. I also repeated as Max Preps national sack leader. In 2017, I added WR & OLB to my DE & TE positions. I was happy to help my team as we changed things up later in season due to injuries. I was able to score 7 TD's in the 4 games I played receiver. I averaged receiving 50.5 yards per game. I continued to play both side of the field at all times. I had 73 tackles with 21 tackles for loss. I had 13 sacks with 85 yards for loss in sacks. Though my national sack average went down from 21 to 13 due to position changes, I will always be a team player first. I enjoyed every moment I played in all positions.I was also honored to be handed the Sword of Leadership for my upcoming Senior Class of 2018, become a Mentor to MS kids and be selected for Student Leadership Counsel. I am drawn to helping people who struggle. Football is what has kept me driven since age 5. It is a brotherhood to me, not just a game. I will lift them up, love them, and hold them accountable. I will play the opponent hard, knock them down, yet offer a hand up when needed. Sportmanship matters.
I have an incredible testimony to share that led me to this place in my life. I am a 10 week premature twin who wasn't given a chance to make it in life. But I was fighter and an overcomer from the beginning. Almost everything I was told I could not do, I have done. Not that it has been easy, but I was up to the challenge when given the chance. My faith is strong, and I believe that God has a plan and purpose for my life.
Academics have been tough at times, and I will need to use your resources to accommodate my IEP, so I can keep my grades where they need to be. I realize that my football career may not last forever, so I want a back up plan. All I ask is a chance to show you what I am made of... from my character, to my skills.
Thank you for your consideration. I am currently taking college visits, and going to camps. I hope to hear from you soon.
