Garrett Hagan '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Garrett Hagan and I have been playing sports since I was 5 years old (Football and Basketball). I played basketball to help keep conditioned in the off season for football and love being part of a team. In 6th grade I added Rugby having watched my older brother play and we won a State Championship that year and runner up in state every year until 10th grade receiving my 2nd State Championship. After winning a State Championship in 8th grade in Basketball and earning MVP I decided to just concentrate on football and rugby in high school as they reinforce fundamentals and focus on my weight training. I just received my first State Championship in Football at Houston High School 2023, our first in the school's history.

I love being part of a team and working together to reach the goals we set throughout the season. This season 2023 we won our first State Championship in HHS history. I'm proud we accomplished this as a team and adding my 4th State Championship in 3 sports. I would like to get a college degree after high school and be successful and while doing that, play the game of football that I love at a college that feels I can contribute. I work hard, train hard and I'm open to wherever I'm needed. I'm coachable and passionate and want to win.

My father played college football and I want to do the same. I plan to be bigger, faster, stronger every year and I'm excited to see what the future holds. It's a goal I will work hard to succeed in.
