My love for football started when I was 8 years old. I started playing in the local community pee-wee league and continued to play in that league until my 7th grade year. While I played in the pee-wee league I started at center which has evolved as the years have went on. In 7th grade I had the opportunity to play on varsity and junior varsity, I started as a center for JV and then I was a backup center for varsity. When I moved up to the 8th grade, I started as center again.
Currently my love for football hasn't stopped. As a sophomore In a school that has over 2,000 students I have been lucky enough to start every JV game and had playing time on Varsity as a defensive end. I hope to continue to improve my skills as I move into my junior season by getting stronger in the offseason and attending summer camps.
When im not involved in football I am a Star Scout working towards my Eagle scout. Over the summer of 2016 i had the opportunity to lead my crew of 12 members to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. While in New Mexico we backpacked and hiked over 75 miles in 10 days. Not only did this test my endurance it also gave me a chance to showcase my leadership skills. I hope to reach my eagle scout in the next 2 years.
As I continue to dream about collegiate football, my love for football only grows. I realize only a select few get the opportunity to earn a football scholar ship. However, I would love to be in that select few. I am open to all colleges that would give me a chance to showcase my talents in anyway possible. I would be happy to show leadership with all my teammates and family as the years go on.
