My name is James Jackson Richey and I go by Jackson. I have wanted to be a football player for my entire life. Some of my earliest memories are playing and watching football with my dad. Growing up I played multiple other sports like basketball, baseball, and soccer, but nothing compares to football. Being able to play Division I football would be a dream come true and I am willing to put in the work to get there.
I played flag football for several years before finally playing tackle football in the 8th grade. At my middle school, I played wide receiver and outside linebacker. I like wide receiver most because I feel my strength on the field is running routes and catching in-stride. I also excel at run-blocking, which I believe makes me an asset for any team.
As an athlete and teammate I value good sportsmanship and the whole-team concept. Whether I'm on the field or on the sideline I am always supporting my team.
