I just finished by junior season, currently attending Signal Mountain High School. I am a multi sport athlete, that plays both Varsity football and played varsity baseball my freshman Year. I competed on the Varsity Track Team in 2018 where I competed in the 100, 200, shot and discus. I have been a varsity football starter since my first game as a freshman. I play Strong Safety and OLB and running back on offense. I play on special teams as well. I was the only freshman to start every game of the season in 2016 and I finished 5th on my team in tackles with 2 fumble recoveries and 3 1/2 tackles for a loss and 47 1/2 total tackles my freshman year 52 tackles my Sophomore year with 2 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries. My Junior year I played new hybrid OLB/DE and played a lot of coverage schemes. I was also honored to be named "Newcomer of the Year" by the coaching staff at the end of my freshman season. One thing I learned more than anything, is that I had what it took to play and compete at the highest level early on and that I love competing. My Sophomore season was a great year for us as a team since we made the playoffs after a two year absence and continued my junior year making to the playoffs and clinched 2nd in the region . I believe what separates me from other athletes is that, no one will out-work me on or off the field. I'm very dedicated to get better everyday and I put in as much extra work off the field as possible, such as continuing to workout on my own in order to increase, strength size and speed as well as participate in team activities. I wish to play at the highest level possible for the college which is the best academic fit and allows me to make an impact on and off the field as a student athlete, regardless of the division. I want to obtain the best education possible. I am working hard outside of sports, and in the classroom to be the best possible student athlete by taking some of the most stringent and demanding courses available and I have been in the IB diploma program at Signal Mountain. I'm currently in the academically gifted program and a Duke Tips participant. I have participated in Youth in Government for my high school my freshman, sophomore and junior years and traveled to Nashville to compete each year. Some of the key lessons I have learned from football that apply to everyday life are integrity, perseverance, and team work, because I can't do it by myself and I must rely on my team like they are family and always do what is best for the team. Please feel free to contact my parents, coaches or me at anytime to discuss your team needs and how I could be a fit in your program.
