For as long as I can remember, football has always been in my life. From playing catch outside with my dad and brother to playing a backyard football game with my friends, football has always been there. I remember every Sunday after church when I was little, my family and I would go to my grandparents' house to watch the Tennessee Titans game. It has been a long dream of mine to play football at the collegiate and professional level.
I started playing football during my 6th grade year. If I'm being honest, it was not the best first experience for me, as my team didn't win a single game. But I was not going to give up on football just because of a bad season. My family and I moved after I completed the 6th grade, and I joined my new school's football team my 8th grade year. We were the Co-County Champions that year. Although I didn't like sharing the championship with two other schools, it put the spark back in me of playing this sport competitively again.
Playing football at the high school level is very important to me, so I'm always working hard to be the best student athlete I can be. I am always working hard in the weight room and whenever we condition outside to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I am also working hard in the classroom and making sure my grades are always in the A and B category. I believe that I have the potential to play football beyond the high school level, so I will continue to work as hard as I can on and off the football field to be the best athlete I can possibly be!
