Diego Avila '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals for many years have been wanting to play collegiate football at the next level. I have been admiring college football for years, but me wanting to get a great education is an aspect that is important in my life as well. Many qualities that make me a candidate for your team/program is that first I am a person who puts the team before himself at all times. Wanting to push the guys around will affect the team in a positive way and will be contagious. I lead by example and will encourage guys 24/7 and be there for my teammates whether it's on the field, in the weight room, film room, or in the classroom. I am always driven and I never need to be motivated because I have always had an end goal in mind. Competition is something I have always loved and never feared from. I throw the discus for my highschool as well. Academics are important to me because football will end someday and having a chance to further my education is something I want to do. As of now I am currently looking to pursue a job or occupation in the field of law. I am taking Law classes at my school currently. Never will you get complaints that there are negative things about me in the school buildings because I believe the way you take care of business on the field is the same way you need to do it in the school building. I always ask my teachers if it's possible to sit in the front of the classroom because I believe that it shows that I have a desire to learn and get better everyday in that class.
